Eva Rawposa - From the HeartHello to you!

It’s your business partner and the official Uncooking 101 hostess Eva Rawposa here. I want to talk to you about doing business and teaching about raw food, from the heart.

You’re probably here on this page because you have interest in sharing raw food with others, whether it be your friends and family or on a much bigger scale. You may already be sharing in some way. (Actually, chances are good that you already are! Raw food is so hard not to share!)

I really want help you pass this on in the best way you possibly can, a way that serves you and your loved ones (whether they be friends, family or clients) in the way most fits YOU. I can’t even fully express JUST how much I want to help you. The way I see it is that this is the best thing I can do for you… I want to give you all of the following:

  1. the tools you need to share effectively (things like cheat sheets, class outlines and materials, some starter marketing ideas, etc.)
  2. the AHA! moments that help you “get” what other people need to understand This Raw Food Thing (because honestly, what use is good marketing if people come to your classes but don’t leave inspired to make magic?!)
  3. the guts and the confidence to do it well, from marketing to execution!

I have to tell you a snippet of my story to help you understand why this is so important to me… I personally had the following issues (and more, actually) just before going raw:
ulcers * acne * ADHD * depression * gas * mood swings * fatigue * (and I could go on…)

After just a few days raw, it seemed like a MIRACLE… everything was fine again… except it wasn’t even just “fine”. It’s like the birds were chirping just for me, and the sun was shining down, and the clouds were nowhere to be found. Literally and figuratively, it seemed! My whole life just *BAM* changed for the better. Not just my health, but my overall sense of inexplicable joy, pure satisfaction with what I already have, and freedom from all the mindset issues that held me back.

And life just keeps on getting better.

More than 4 and a half years later, and I can’t even stretch myself hard to remember exactly what it was like before I was raw. My life, my spirit, my mind, my health, were just so dismal compared to how I feel now! I can’t fully understand depression or an achy body now. I can hardly even understand pain!

Cheers to Good HealthWonderfully, it’s not just me that this kind of thing happens to. The longer I teach others about raw, the more people who come to me, continually inspiring me (again and again!) at just how AMAZING of a transformation CAN be made. At just how CAPABLE the human body is. At just how POWERFUL our choices can make us over our lives and health and well-being!

When I consider “working” in a different business, I feel like I would be missing out.

In the time I’ve been teaching others about raw food and began even certifying others to teach (starting in 2007), I’ve literally shared raw food with thousands of people! Not a day passes that I don’t feel intense satisfaction for what I do. Most days, I receive AT LEAST one or two emails from people who want me to know their lives are changing, or that they are just generally appreciative of what we’re doing. I feel like my life matters… like what I am doing has real meaning!

What other kind of “work” could come close to this level of satisfaction? How can I know who could have been saved from a heart attack or diabetes or cancer or… even just the BLAH feeling so many people seem to have? How could I walk away from this?

This is a HUGE part of why it brings me pleasure to help others with their own businesses sharing raw food. I know if you have a passion for this, you really could use the tools you need to get great momentum going. Much better than letting the passion fizzle because it’s too much of a learning curve to figure out all the many details!



THE LOCATION

starIt’s not just by chance we host events on the island of Martha’s Vineyard… It’s one of the most beautiful, amazingly paradise-like places on earth. Obviously that’s a plus! But it’s because it is such a clean, peaceful place that we can more easily peel away the layers to find our best selves underneath.

starThe house is in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts near the water and in the home of the lovely gingerbread village that might just be the most adorable neighborhood you’ve ever laid eyes on in your life!

starTo get here, you can fly straight to the island. (I recommend searching using Kayak.com and putting the destination airport as MVY – Martha’s Vineyard.) You could also fly to Boston and take an easy bus ride to Woods Hole. OR, if you are coming from Boston, NYC, Philadelphia, or even Washington, D.C. you will find there are buses to bring you here as well. If you are driving, you’ll drive to Woods Hole, MA. For your convenience upon registering, your automatic email confirmation will include this info in much better detail.

THE DATES/AGENDA

This is a 1-time certification vacation, nothing like anything we have ever offered before, that will be held from May 25 to 28. You may drop your bags off and arrive earlier or leave later, but the official check-in time on your arrival day is 4pm, and the official check-out time on your departure day is 10am.

During the mornings and evenings, you’re MINE for classes. But during the day, you’ll be able to take a (raw!) picnic lunch with you to explore the island with other guests. (Fun!!) We’re in a spot that’s easy to get to the main area of Oak Bluffs, Edgartown, AND Vineyard Haven for the beaches, shops, sightseeing, etc.



Janice (pictured below) joined me to become certified as a raw food chef in 2008 and continues to stay in touch, keeping me updated on the amazing turns her life has taken since then!
