What in the world is a recipe anatomy (or dissection)? (And the 5-minute desserts!!)

I wanted to explain what that really means. But then I realized that explaining it in WORDS just wouldn’t quite cut it!

So here is The Thing. I want to help you eat raw (as much as YOU want) for LIFE. Not to just give you some recipes. The recipes we give you aren’t “just giving you recipes”. These are the BEST of the BEST. But not only that, in the “recipe anatomies” everything is broken down so that you fully understand every piece of the recipes and can change it in a snap.

I’ve followed the recipe anatomy for a recipe {Amber Shea graciously donated from her book}. We’re reconstructing the {5-minute Blondies} based on the anatomy of Amber’s recipe.

[After the program...] I definitely think more about each thing that I put into my body. I make the mind-body-soul connection constantly. I am more in tune with myself, and I work out almost every day. I feel fantastic and full of energy. I eat about 70-80% raw, but I in general eat what makes me feel good. I don’t deny myself foods, because I know that everything I am eating is truly good and nutritious for me. I think I’ve lost weight, although I can’t remember the last time I weighed myself :P . However, I definitely feel really toned and just centered in general.

What makes them so special?
Raw food is different from cooked food; it’s not so obvious as a box of pasta + marinara + putting them together. If you’re making pasta with marinara, the game changes! But it’s no big thing. [My views on food] changed a lot. I am amazed at how much you can do with raw food. Since eating raw I am definitely feel that I am digesting food better. I have been allergic to avocados for a long time, causing horrible yeast infections. Since doing the raw diet I have been able to eat avocados with no problem!!!

Before the program I was 50% raw and eating the same things. Now I am on most days 100% raw. I’ve experimented with new tastes and recipes and have found my taste buds have changed some foods that used to give me heartburn I now eat all the time without any problems. :) Thank you so much!
