Pears are a heavenly fruit full of soft, buttery sweetness. When perfectly ripe, pears are very juicy and provide good amounts of dietary fiber, vitamin C, copper and vitamin K. They make an excellent addition to smoothies and salads, and are divine in many raw desserts.

The vitamin C and copper content build up the immunity system to fight bacteria and viruses, and the fiber promotes colon and heart health.
