{5-minute raw dessert} Almond Praline Cookies

If you’re sweet tooth is an 11 out of 10, you probably have tried pralines before. But probably nothing like these. They are quick, easy, and totally break the scale on the sweetness factor.

Usually my husband sneaks sweets like this and doesn’t leave me any. Well, this time the tables were turned!

He never even knew they existed. I ate them all first. Shame on me. No worries… I’ll make them again! (And again… and again…)


Makes 9 pralines

1/4 cup cashews
1/4 cup almonds
3 Tbsp coconut crystals or date sugar

2-3 medjool (or moist, fresh) dates

1/4 tsp vanilla extract
pinch finely ground sea salt


  • Food process only the cashews, almonds, and coconut sugar until they are a powder almost like the consistency of the coconut crystals or like brown sugar.
  • Add the dates, one at a time. Make sure to remove the pit first!
  • Finally, add the vanilla and salt.
  • Use a round tablespoon measure to scoop 9 pralines, then top with an almond.
