This scrumptious cookie recipe comes to us from Amber Shea Crawley.
INGREDIENTS (WET)
1/2 cup almond butter (preferably raw)
1/2 cup palm/coconut sugar
1/2 cup almond milk
2 Tbsp raw agave nectar
1 Tbsp ground flaxseed
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp sea salt
INGREDIENTS (DRY)
1/2 cup coconut flour
1/4 cup almond flour
1/4 cup raw cacao powder
INSTRUCTIONS (RAW)
Combine all wet ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk until smooth. Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add wet mixture to dry mixture. With your hand, a wooden spoon, or a sturdy spatula, mix dough until thoroughly combined. Divide the dough into about a dozen portions. Shape each portion into a flattened cookie shape on a Teflex sheet. Dehydrate for 7-8 hours.

This cookie recipe sounds great. Is the coconut flour just ground shredded coconut and the almond flour just dehydrated almond pulp thats been ground also? Or is it real flour I would have to buy at the health food store?

Coconut flour: You can get this from Coconut Secret, and it’s pretty different from what would happen at home grinding shredded coconut. Do you have CS products in your area yet??
Almond flour: You got it.
