Oh my! Let me just tell you this one thing! Carlos and I spent MAX 3 minutes preparing it, then as soon as we tried it, he was busy plotting away on we could bottle it and sell it. So we could become FILTHY RICH because it’s that good. He’s such a kook.
But seriously, it’s SO EASY! And SO GOOD! I hope you will enjoy a glass of this too.
If not for the taste and ease, drink it for the selenium boost. You will find selenium in only a few raw foods, so it’s exciting that Brazil nuts in particular are INCREDIBLY rich in selenium! Selenium helps with joint health and can be a real nightmare to be deficient in. So, CHEERS to good health and happy joints!

ANY QUESTIONS? COMMENTS? Just type whatever you have to say below. We’d love to hear from you, no matter what it is. Well, as long as it is related to the shake in some way!

Sounds so tasty! I never had Brazil nuts before.. I am guessing they blend well?
Hi Angel! They do blend well! And you can certainly soak them, but it’s not so necessary like it is with almonds, walnuts, and pecans. Good to just throw it together and enjoy.
sounds seriously good! I saw on your FB page that cashews are a good alternative which also sounds YUmmy. What is banana maca? I use maca but have never heard of banana maca
It’s a type of banana I’ve only seen in Brazil ~ not related to maca! Maca (actually with a c cedilha so the little loopy thing under the c!) is how you say “apple” in Portuguese, so it’s an “apple banana”. Most likely the usual bananas are what you would use ~ unless you have the smaller bananas easily accessible in your area!

Oh my heavens Eva….. I just made this with cashews (don’t have any brazil nuts on hand) and YUMMMMMMMMMMMO!!!!! So good I had to add this link and website to my raw page, just to spread the word some more. YUMMY!
YAY! HI KAREN!!!
That’s wonderful! Isn’t it easy, too?! It’s like FAST FOOD (at its best!) Thank you for sharing! You’re the best!

I’ve made this numerous times, it’s very good and awesome for this busy breastfeeding mama who doesn’t always have nut milk in the fridge!
YAY, busy breastfeeding mama!

Looks and sounds yummy. I love to snack on nuts, but within limits. The calories in them always concern me. But your milkshake is a treat I am surely going to give myself some day soon
Just ordered some raw, organic cacao from Amazon.com. Can’t wait to try it!
Nice!!! That’s where I got my most recent order too.
You’re going to love this recipe — it’s totally like cheating!
Just made my first shake! I didn’t realize it was for 2 servings. I drank a very tall glass and froze the smaller portion for tomorrow.
Nice!! Do let us know if you have any issues with drinking it later — I often find the ice makes that impossible to be great but usually pretty good at least!
