{recipe} Suco de Abacate – Raw Style!

Suco de AbacateIt makes me smile to think of people in other parts of the world reading this who may just make this silky, creamy drink and travel to Brazil themselves for just a moment as they sip away!

My husband has been making avocado smoothies since he was a kid, and I LOVED drinking them with him before I went raw. But, the way it’s usually made in Brazil is with milk, sugar, and avocado. It is very tasty but has room for improvement if you want a drink that is 100% in support of your health!

Sooo, we have the rawified recipe below! I finally measured and jotted down EXACT measurements for you!

INGREDIENTS (OUTSIDE BRAZIL)
2 c (1/2 liter) almond mylk
1 small avocado
2 frozen bananas

INGREDIENTS (IN BRAZIL)
1/2 liter almond mylk
1/2 medium avocado
4 frozen bananas (banana prata)

INSTRUCTIONS
1/ Blend until smooth.
2/ Drink immediately if possible. This drink does not store well.
