- 1 medium papaya
- 2 limes, juiced
- 2 bananas
- 1/2 cup ice
Juice the lime in a citrus juicer, add all ingredients to the blender, and get it smooth!
Make sure to remove the papaya seeds unless you would like this smoothie to be VERY spicy! If you are looking for a way to use the seeds, there is a fabulous face mask recipe right here for ya.
A “vitamina” in Portuguese is such an interesting word for me! It essentially means “smoothie”, and although vitaminas often include both sugar and cow’s milk, I just looove the recognition of the vitamins there waiting for you! This recipe, without processed sugar, dairy, or any other potentially harmful substance is truly chock full of vitamins. On top of it, this recipe is incredibly alkalizing. Enjoy!!
