Pink SmoothieI’m loooving the blood red oranges right now. If you haven’t had them, they’re a touch more tart than a regular orange but still sweet and flavorful! And the appearance is different, obviously. 😉

One of the things I love about raw, is that it’s so simple to make a meal. I love to just eat and drink what I want, as long as it’s raw and is something that feels right to my body (do I want something heavy, light, sweet, salty, etc.)… and wonderfully enough that generally is super awesome for my taste buds too.

Like this. It’s HEALTHY to have a sweet, fruity smoothie?! That’s seriously awesome. I hope you enjoy this one!

INGREDIENTS
5 bananas, peeled
5 blood red oranges, peeled with seeds removed
1 1/2 cups ice
1/2 cup water

INSTRUCTIONS
Just, you know, blend. Easy peasy!

A SPECIAL NOTE ON GREEN SMOOTHIES
This could easily be one. (Then it wouldn’t be even close to blood or orange or even pink! ha!) If you’re a green smoothie fiend like I am, why not just throw some green leaves of your choosing in? If you’re new to them, here is a {basic green smoothie recipe info page} for you. But literally, all you’d have to do is add as many green leaves as you like to the above. You could even do mint leaves or spinach. Mmmm…
